The Sylvan Watcher • Frame data and knockback info

Rivals of Aether runs at 60 frames per second, and natively at 512×960px resolution. Throughout this document and site, these frames and pixels are used as units of time and distance, respectively.

Jab 2 loops back into Jab 1. Varying startup depending on when the attack is input. A jab input within the final 2 frames of the cancel window will not begin its startup until after the remaining frames of endlag are completed.

If you hit another character or object at any time during the jab loop, Maypul is able to cancel into a turnaround tilt at any point in the loop afterwards.

Tether's travel time scales with distance, the direction you travel to (Above, In Front, Behind) and whether the marked player is in hitstun or not. Tether travel time is 3 times faster when the marked player is in hitstun and a minimum 5 frames slower when they are not. Hitstun distinction registered at the start of tether. Cancelling tether endlag into Up Air will double the knockback scaling of the move's multi-hits. Maypul has the ability to tether to any character that has been wrapped as if they are marked and in hitstun.

Lily will spit an active seed up in the air upon eating it. If this seed does not collide with another character, object or platform it will then be swallowed by Lily again, resetting her lifetime duration a second time before disappearing. Maypul can place Lily again during Lily's despawn animation, as well as during the hitpause of Lily's bite.

Lily will always start her attack 1 frame after detecting an opponent in her range, increasing her effective startup by 1. This is reflected in the animation for the attack.

Maypul can place Lily again during Lily's despawn animation, as well as during the hitpause of Lily's bite. If Bite is initiated by a character with Watcher's Mark but does not succesfully hit them, that character's Watcher's Mark will be removed.
