Hodan will never go into landing lag at any stage during Nair. Landing during startup causes Hodan to hover above the ground until the first hitbox becomes active, which then causes the landing hitbox to appear one frame later. Landing during endlag continues the aerial endlag frames on the ground, becoming actionable in a grounded state upon ending.

Draws Sweat Spirits towards its tornado for the full duration of the attack, consuming them when they become close enough. It is not possible to capture Sweatwhirls if they have been parried by another character. Releasing attack at any time after f23 will cause Hodan to instantly enter startup for the final hit. Hodan can spin for a maximum of 4 times without becoming dizzy during his endlag, increased to 8 spins if he captures a spirit. Although Hodan is normally only able to have 3 Spirits in the field at once, if able to capture more than 3 spirits during Neutral Special this will extend the maximum number of spins even further than what is listed in the actives frames and FAF.
